More than a bib, the Hi-Vis vest has an elegant look to be worn over all motorcycle jackets. Developed by Helite, the algorithm uses a set of sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS) that analyze the motorcyclist’s motion more than 1000 times a second and enables to follow the rider in real time on 360 degree. The system ensures a detection time from 62 ms. When a fall is detected, the airbag inflates automatically in less than 55 ms and before impact. This technology includes the possibility of installing an optional sensor on the motorcycle fork. This fork sensor detects impacts on the motorcycle and allows faster detection and more accident situations to be covered. Highly recommended on the road.

Turtle Technology

The airbag is located under the SAS-TEC level 2 back protector. Like the shell of a turtle, the protection works in the same way as a biker’s helmet: on the outside, a rigid shell (the dorsal) covering the soft material inside in contact with the body (the airbag). It is a world first for a motorbike airbag, a small revolution for the sector and probably an innovation that will become standard in a few years. The new Turtle airbag generation is a revolution for the motorcycle airbag market, achieving incomparable protection results. The synergy between the rigid back part and the airbag brings a significant gain in the distribution of impact forces that dissipate over the entire airbag, greatly improving energy absorption and reducing the risk of intrusion. The Turtle Technology resists and protects much better and on a larger surface against local impacts like small pointed, sharp or blunt objects. The jacket offers a very large protection volume (the largest on the market) between 17 and 28 L depending on the size of the airbag. This provides better protection in the event of a fall.

Option "Full Protection"

For total and optimal protection, it is highly recommended to add a second sensor on the motorcycle fork. This option divides the detection time by 2 and to cover more accidents, which includes stationary and low speed accidents.

Reconditioning

The reconditioning is very simple, and you can do it yourself in a few minutes, without any intervention on our part. You just need to replace (by screwing/unscrewing) the empty e-cartridge with a new one. Attention: make sure to choose the proper size of e-cartridge corresponding to the size of your airbag vest.

Electronic System

The technology includes several sensors that analyze the situation in real time and allow 360 degree detection. When a fall or accident is detected, the airbag automatically inflates before impact. The sensor integrated in the jacket (CDU) tracks and analyzes the motorcyclist's movements in real time.

Wireless System

The system is simple and ready to use. No need to connect yourself with the motorcycle anymore, just push the ON/OFF button 3 times to activate the vest.

Autonomy

The E-Turtle has a 25 hour autonomy which is about 1 week of use. A USB cable is supplied with the airbag system to recharge the vest (charging time is about 3 hours).
